GGP ANNOUNCES FALL CONCERT SERIES

WILMINGTON, NC – Greater Good Productions, LLC announces the Live at the Lake Concert Series, set to take place this fall at Greenfield Lake Park in Downtown Wilmington, NC.  Greater Good Productions (GGP) is a newly formed event production/marketing company located in Downtown Wilmington.  GGP is the vision of experienced event planner and former Downtown Business Alliance director Katie Lucas, who, together with GGP staff, has over 25 years of collective experience in event planning & management, advertising, operations, and small business consulting.  GGP is a community focused company that plans to bring culturally diverse events and quality entertainment to the Cape Fear area while assisting area non-profit organizations and businesses.

A new partner will be chosen for both the spring and fall seasons each year. This year’s performers include:

“… this surprising and deeply resonant album lifts Potter and the Nocturnals into the rarefied stratum presently occupied by Wilco and My Morning Jacket—bands that combine a reverence for rock’s rich heritage with a sense of adventure and a need to express something honest and heartfelt.” – gracepotter.com

Saturday, November 14th, 2009: ALEJANDRO ESCOVEDO Alejandro Escovedo

Watch “Always a Friend” with Bruce Springsteen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iRMv2lnlEw
“When Rolling Stones’ David Fricke describes Alejandro Escovedo to be “…his own genre”, few can disagree. Alejandro has been hailed as everything a musical genius can possibly be and more. His versatility is only complimented with his diverse experience, from punk to rock & roll. He blends rock, folk, blues and classically influenced music into a boundary-defying style that has helped him create his own genre & have a faithful fan- following that cannot be boasted by many contemporary artists.” – onlineseats.com
